Some Concept Ideas...

These are some shots I took of Nicasio, California. It is a small town that was established shortly after the Gold Rush.

While not a direct concept of my fictitious town, it has some of the basic elements that will appear in my town of Hallett's Cove.

I particularly like the play of lights and darks in the woods just outside of the town. There will be a lot of shadows from the ever present trees. And those shadows play a big part of the story.
