Welcome to the home of The Cove Chronicles. It is a project that began over seven years ago as I was working on a manuscript for another book. In the course of writing that book I was inspired by re-reading the Haudenosaunee Sky Woman story. So I took a moment, jotted some notes and the next thing I knew, the Cove Chronicles was born!
Though my other manuscript languished in its first revision mode, I toiled in the fictitious town of Hallett's Cove, Marin County, California. I realized that while working on the Chronicles, I could see a path how to link the two stories together. How "Bass-Akcwards" can you get?
Inspiration... What a wacky muse she is!
So how does a story told by natives of upstate New York come to reside in a Northern California town? Well, that is the story, as they say!
Anyway, I hope you'll find the postings here (they are growing...) interesting enough that you'll want to return to see how the series (yes, it will take more than one book to tell this tale) develops.
